COVID RELIEF WORK
Sankalp Society has been very proactively doing a number of COVID relief activities
since April 2020, after the first lockdown which was announced in India in March 2020.
Sankalp raised funds through individual donations and social media. Sankalp has since
then conducted more than100 distribution camps of dry ration, clothes, blankets, cooked
food, teaching material, stationary, school supplies, etc and reached out to the needy
most.
• Covered 500 poor families for ration kit and cooked food
• 250 children provided education through online / offline classes
• Covered 500 children for educational, hygiene and snack kits
• Covered 350 girls only for clothes and sanitary napkins
• Spread COVID related awareness in 5 big urban slum clusters covering 10,000
families
• Distributed blankets to 1000 families living on streets
• Gave immunity kits and medicines to 200 families
• Distributed warm clothes to 525 children
• School bags were given to over 1000 children
• Conducted vaccination awareness camps across various slum clusters
• Vaccinated over 1500 poor people for COVID through 10 vaccination camp
• Distributed blankets to 500 poor families
• Conducting general eye, health and dental check-ups.
